1. Hibiscus for hair – Oil for hair regrowth

How to make

How to apply

  • Take a pan and put one cup of coconut/olive/sesame oil in it. Allow the oil to warm up and put 10-15 crushed hibiscus flowers and few Hibiscus leaves(optional). Boil the oil for few minutes till it gets infused with the Hibiscus extracts and turns slightly reddish in color.
  • When the oil cools down, mash the Hibiscus leftovers and then strain the oil. Now add lemongrass essential oil to the oil and keep this oil in an airtight bottle for future application. Use this hair oil to massage the scalp and hair for 10 minutes. Keep this mixture for 30-40 minutes in hair or overnight for fast result. Rinse it off with herbal shampoo. Apply this oil twice a week.

2. Hibiscus for hair –  Smooth and shiny hair

How to make

  • 4 eggs or as per the requirements of your hair volume and length
  • 15-20 Hibiscus flowers and some leaves(option)

How to apply

  • Put hibiscus flowers, leaves and eggs to the blender and make a smooth paste. Apply this paste to your scalp and hair for 30-40 minutes and then rinse it off with herbal shampoo. Repeat it weekly for smooth and frizz-free hair.

Why does it work

  • Hair is mostly made up of proteins and amino acids, and this combination means that egg yolk and hibiscus both for hair is the perfect method of boosting the hair’s supply of necessary nutrients. The vitamin A found in egg yolk will improve the hair’s ability to produce natural moisture by stimulating sebum production.
  • The fatty protein lecithin of egg helps reduce frizz in your hair and also prevents breakage and brittleness and hibiscus promotes hair growth and prevents dry itchy scalp problems.

3. Hibiscus for hair – Anti-dandruff hair mask

How to make

  • 15-20 Hibiscus flowers and some leaves(optional)
  • 5 tablespoon Aloe Vera gel (Buy From Here)
  • 1-2 inch ginger root

How to apply

  • Put hibiscus flower, leaves and ginger into a blender and add some water to make a thick smooth paste. Now add aloe vera gel to the paste and apply the paste to scalp for 30 minutes. Rinse it off with herbal shampoo. Repeat this twice a week for fast result. You will get dandruff free scalp after 3rd or 4th application.

  • Ginger is a natural antiseptic that kills the fungi that cause dandruff. It inhibits the growth of yeast, stopping flakes, itchiness, and dandruff before they happen. It reduces inflammation of the scalp.

      Hi Mercy, yeah hibiscus tree at home is great to have as it has numerous benefits for hairs. I am sure you are a better photographer than I am, I am still learning now. All/most of the pics on alluringsoul are taken by me.
