May 18, 2017 at 9:43 amHi Mamta,
I loved this. I was wondering how long can I keep this for ? If I make too much for my self, is it okay to keep it for more than a month?

October 22, 2017 at 3:51 pmI’m late on responding but don’t get any water in the container. There are no preservatives in the scrub (a very good thing). Water in the container can contribute to the growth of mold. What I do is scoop out what I need before my shower but I don’t keep the jar in the bathroom or in the shower itself. I worry about humidity building up and I don’t want to splash water in the jar from my bath or shower.

Mamta
March 15, 2018 at 4:31 pmHi Giselle,
Yes, you can substitute brown with white sugar. Sugar exfoliates dirt and dead cells from skin.

July 9, 2018 at 5:21 pmHi!
I liked the article and the recipe – thank you for sharing. But, coffee, or rather the caffeine, doesn’t remove cellulite. Cellulite is fibrous band which has to be severed (ouch) to go away. However, caffeine does stimulate dilation and scrubbing will increase circulation so the two combined plumps up the skin making the cellulite look less obvious.
Coffee grounds especially when used as a scrub will reduce the appearance of cellulite but it’s only temporary.
