Marigold or more commonly Calendula has been used medicinally for centuries. Calendula has been considered beneficial in reducing inflammation and promoting wound healing. It has been used to treat a variety of skin diseases and has been seen effective in the treatment of skin ulcerations, eczema, juvenile acne, and dry phthiriasis. Different types of homemade Marigold face mask can be used to treat such skin disorder. Firstly we should know the skin benefits of marigold.

Marigold has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as it is a strong antiseptic agent and a very effective astringent. Marigold prevents wrinkles by its cell renewal property.  It can be used as a natural moisturizer and is very soothing to irritated chapped and sun-damaged skin. It also controls face oil production .i.e stimulates the sebaceous glands

After searching lots of information on the internet about this medicinal flower, then I came to know that it has various amazing benefits for the skin. I prepared some face mask for me which I am going to share with you all. Actually, i wanted to know that in how many days improvement could be seen because I was having many small red pimples on my face due to hormonal changes in my body. After 4-5 days, my some of the pimples were gone and few were on healing stage and my face was glowing too. My skin is combination type and acne prone.
