  • Mix all the ingredients and apply to scalp.
  • Gently massage the scalp for 2-3 minutes and leave it for 15- 20 minutes and rinse it off with herbal shampoo.

2. How to get rid of dandruff using Neem Oil

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon neem oil
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup yogurt

  • Mix all the ingredients and apply to your scalp and hair. Leave it for 30-40 minutes and rinse it with herbal or ayurvedic shampoo.

3. How to get rid of dandruff using Fenugreek Seed

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon fenugreek seeds 
  • 3 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • Soak fenugreek seeds in the water for overnight. Now add fresh lemon juice and fenugreek seeds in a grinder to make a fine smooth paste. Add some water to make a spreadable paste. After that add sesame oil to the paste.

How to apply

  • Mix black pepper and olive oil and let the black pepper powder keep for overnight so that pepper extracts its vitamins and minerals to the oil. 
  • Before applying it to scalp mix fresh lemon juice. Keep this mixture for 30 minutes and rinse it with herbal shampoo. Do this remedy once in a week. After 2 or 3 wash your dandruff will be totally gone. Do not repeat this remedy more than once in a week because pepper will irritate your scalp.

      Hi, Sobia, yes you can use dove shampoo but I would recommend using an anti-dandruff herbal shampoo instead.

      Hi mounika, These remedies will work for both type of hair. Just make sure your scalp is clean and no any other oils or hairspray or creams or gels are applied to the scalp.

      A herbal shampoo is made from natural ingredients like shea butter. aloe vera, essential oils, paraben and chemical free. You can get this from any ayurvedic or herbal store. Also, you can buy the same online from Amazon or thedetoxmarket.com

      You should not omit aloe vera gel in the onion remedy. This is a perfect combination for dandruff.
