Hi Mamta, I am glad to check on this post. It gave me a clear image on uses of tea tree oil on scalp for treating dandruff. But can you let me know whether this oil works on weak hair roots, also if the scalp is with clogged pores and the roots are pretty thin, does the oil give effective results. And to do a patch test, can it be on arms, or face, or a specific small area on scalp.

Hi Sonika, tea tree oil is great for treating dandruff, hair loss problem and it helps to unclog blocked hair follicle. It has numerous benefits to hairs and also be consistent with it. It’s an effective remedy to solve your hair woes.

For patch test, apply a drop of tea tree oil mixed with coconut or your favorite hair oil on the inner, lower arm. Rub it in and allow it to dry on the skin. Do not wash that area of the skin for at least 24 hours. See reactions. If the area is red or some other skin reaction is there then do not apply it to your scalp. It shows that you are having skin allergy with this oil.

      Thanks
      Mamta

      Hi Saquib,
If the shampoo is organic and natural you can’t find it cheap. Because the chemicals make the product cheap and organic product is not made with chemicals. They are natural and that’s why they don’t belong in the low range product category.
Also, You can buy the hair care and skin care products from Morpheme Remedies, StBotanica and Biotique (Assuming you are Indian). These brands make organic products and also these are not very expensive.
