Blogging Resources

I have been blogging for quite a while now. In my journey of blogging over the past years, I have come accross a lot of tools and resources which helped me grow and monetize my blog. Here is the list of tools and resources which I use on a daily basis to run my blog.

BLUEHOST

I have used Bluehost for hosting my blog. In fact, when I started alluringsoul.com, I did that on Bluehost. Why?

Because Bluehost makes it very simple to create a new blog. They have a one-click installation which will not only get you a domain (if you don’t have one!) but also install WordPress on it.

They have the best customer support so it becomes super easy to reach them out when you have any problem.

I highly recommend Bluehost if you are starting a new blog or want to migrate your blog to a new web hosting. You can start with as cheap as $3.95 per month + you will get a free domain name as well.

If you are looking for steps to start a new blog, then here is the step by step post to do so.

CONVERTKIT

I use convertkit for managing my Email List. Creating forms, autoresponders and segments are super easy in convertkit.

The most important feature which is missing in most of email management software is advanced segmentation. Convertkit provides user segmentation on tags and so that you can send relevant emails to your readers for which they are interested in.

I highly recommend using convertkit.

TAILWIND

I use Tailwind for scheduling pins to my Pinterest board. Although I try to do manual pinning whenever possible, when I don’t have the time to do so, I use Tailwind.

Apart from this Tailwind also provides some great analytics for group boards like how they are performing, virality factor of a group board, etc. Also, you can see how your pins are performing and your Pinterest profile as a whole.

Tailwind also has tribes which are great for your content among other bloggers to gain extra shares. Isn’t that great!

SHAREASALE

I use ShareASale to find the brand’s affiliate programs in which I am interested in. Shareasale have a huge network where brands run their affiliate programs. There is a good possibility that the brand you love the most would be on Shareasale.

Its super simple to start with. Just signup on to create an account and you can start getting affiliate commissions from day one.

FLEXOFFERS

Like ShareASale, Flexoffers also offers a huge network of brands running their affiliate programs. If you don’t find a brand which you want to promote in Sharesale, chances are you will find them on flexoffers.

Again you just need to register to start earning from affiliates on flexoffers.

PICMONKEY

I use Picmonkey to create all infographics that I share on my Pinterest profile and banner that I share on my Facebook profile. I use Picmonkey to edit images inside the post and create the post featured image. You can do almost anything that you can think of using Picmonkey.

You can start with your free trial and then upgrade if you like it.
