1. Mint acne face mask: 

Mint is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. Salicylic acid present in mint helps in curing acne. It also helps to soften and calm dry or itchy skin. Make a paste of few mint leaves and 1 tbs curd and ½  tbs of multani mitti and apply this on your face. Clean off after 30 minutes. Doing this regularly helps in getting rid of stubborn acne.



2. Marigold Flower acne face mask:  

  • It is high in antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties as well as an effective astringent. Marigold heals rashes, sunburns, acne, eczema and other skin issues. It prevents wrinkles. It clears blemishes and dark spots and imparts a natural glow to the skin.Make a paste of 1-2  whole marigold flower and add 1 tbs sandalwood powder, 1 tbs of lemon juice and ½ tbsp of curd. Apply this on your face. Clean off after 30 minutes.
  • Marigold heals the persistent acne. Mint /sandalwood calms the skin and provide a cooling sensation to the irritated skin and also checks the future acne. Lemon juice removes black spots. Curd cleanses the skin and also makes skin glow.



3.  Lemon acne face mask:

Lemon juice acts as a natural exfoliate because it contains citric acid that works as a gentle peel to remove top layers of the dead skin cells. Mix lemon juice, brown/white sugar, and water into a paste and rub it onto your face, and then rinse with cool water and apply moisturizer. Repeat it regularly.

4. Apple cider vinegar acne face mask:

ACV has amazing health benefits and you can use it to treat skin problems such as age spots, acne, pimples, razor burns as well as other skin conditions. It contains powerful alpha hydroxy acids to help remove dead skin cells and reveal a fresher and healthier complexion underneath them. You can use ACV as a mask or use as a toner for the skin. Make a thick consistency mask by adding 1 teaspoon ACV, 2 teaspoons of cold green tea or cold black tea, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder.  Black tea helps in reducing mimic wrinkles and preventing premature aging and pimples. Honey is a natural moisturizer which keeps your skin soft and supple. Turmeric helps to clear acne scars and inflammation but also reduces oil secretion by sebaceous glands.

5. Egg acne face mask:

Egg white soaks up the excess oil to prevent acne and also fades its scars.It is a great source of B – vitamins which have powerful antioxidants to protect the skin cells from damage. It also nourishes the skin and promotes cell repair. Egg whites clean the skin and prevent bacteria growth.Wash your face with water and pat dry with a soft towel. Separate and whisk eggs white and apply all over the face. You can add few drops of lemon which is beneficial in removing dark spots. Wait for few minutes and then re-apply. Leave for a few minutes to dry. Wash your face with warm water then pat the skin dry. Apply moisturizer.



6. Garlic acne face mask:

Garlic has anti – bacterial, anti fungal, anti – viral and anti – septic properties that help to prevent clogged pores and thus, reduces the acne. Peel, and make a paste of  3 to 5 garlic cloves to extract juice. Mix juice with 2 tbs fresh aloe vera gel or curd. Aloe vera has glycoproteins, a substance that is used to heal and reduce the inflammation, redness, and discomfort caused by pimples. Use fingertips to gently massage mixture into clean skin. Leave on for 15 minutes, rinse with water, and pat dry. Repeat daily. Remove if the garlic starts to sting.



7. Cinnamon acne face mask:

It increases circulation, bringing blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin where it’s applied.The combination of cinnamon and honey can help treat and prevent stubborn acne. They’re both full of antioxidants and they have antibacterial properties. Honey is anti-inflammatory, and it can soothe and moisturize your skin.

8. Clove oil acne face mask:

Clove oil contains a substance called eugenol, which has antibacterial properties. The moisturizing lotion which you apply daily on your skin, you can add a few drops of clove oil to that also. You will see the difference in your skin and witness less inflammation in your skin.The most important rule when you are using clove oil is to never use it alone. Mix it with other oils or ingredients before applying on your skin. You should not apply anything before testing on other body parts. So do a patch test.



9. Tea tree oil acne face mask:

Tea tree oil is a great natural alternative for getting rid of pimples. It has unique disinfecting and soothing properties and, unlike other acne treatments, tea tree oil will not strip your skin of its natural oils and cause further damage. Mix a couple of drops of tea tree oil into 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel/raw honey and apply directly onto a pimple you wish to get rid of. Apply the mask evenly, all over your face and neck. Leave the mask on for at least 20 minutes.  Rinse with water and pat dry.




  • Cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day – once in the morning before you put on makeup, and once at night before you go to bed. This will give your skin a chance to heal and breath overnight rather than being clogged by dirt or makeup.
  • Once or twice a week, in place of your daily cleanser, you should exfoliate with an exfoliating facial wash. Make sure that it’s nothing too harsh. The exfoliator is essential because it removed dead skin cells which can leave your complexion appearing dull and can clog up pores.
  • Apply a face mask regularly after cleansing your face.
